Lets Redesign Old Chars for No Reason

 So yeah, ever get the strong desire (or not even strong, just idk, something) to redesign really old characters for a story you never started/finished and haven’t thought about in years? I did this week…

 These guys all used to be anthropomorphic KenoPets I had back in 2007 (they’re all in my gallery). I had like, 2 stories going for them, and honestly, idk what made me want to redesign them. I’m not planning to revive the story, though as I was redesigning them I realized I’ve used a lot of their story elements over the years…

-Areli and gossamer: she was a normal girl until the world decided to stop making sense. A weird cat showed up and started talking to her, saying she was the reincarnation of some angelic-like being called The Lioness, and that the Fallen had reawakened, so she had to stop her. Areli of course didn’t believe Gossamer, but then a crazy demon and some warrior guy showed up on her front porch, and well, yeah…

-Fahan: he was a gladiator who lost his honor, or something; when he was a griffon/hippogriff he was missing a wing, so he was badly damaged. He’s a eunuch too, and missing an eye, and was charged to be Areli’s guardian.

-Siraj al Mara: named “Light of the Destroyer” by Isra, he was born as a nature elemental, but he was turned into a fire demon. While his mistress was locked away he basically ran around like a trickster, but when she was re awoken, he was called by his bond to her. Then he met/saw Areli though and fell in love with her, so at first tried to seduce her into evil, but started to see that there really was goodness in the world…he ended up sacrificing himself to save her too.

-Isra/feil: once an angelic-like being, she tried to take over/destroy the world, so it was up to two guardians, Ariel the Lioness and Kallisto the Dragoness to stop her. she was cast out of their place, and locked away where she deteriorated into a zombie-like angelic thing until some archaeologists released her. Now she’s back to what she was doing before.

-Kallisto: the Dragoness, the last surviving guardian after Ariel’s death. She was asleep/stasis/whatever while Isra was because she knew she’d awaken someday an when that came time she’d need to be there to try to stop her, even though the first time it took her and Ariel and Ariel lost her life in the process.

 So…yeah…random sketching…yay.
