Well I’d mentioned the other week that I’d found a DotD 3 pack for clearance and picked it up for custom fodder. Well here’s the start of it!
This actually isn’t *that* Frankie though; that one had 2 legs the same length, so after a year and 3 different dolls later I FINALLY have a DotD Frankie who can stand alone-hurray! So this was #2, and being a ghosts he doesn’t have to stand
Character wise…well just go read her web bio for that, idf like repeating myself
Technical wise she was made from a DotD Frankie. I removed all the black streaks and used 2 tones of green, DH’s Envy and Sour Apple Martini. I then added extra green for the parts. I styled her hair into pigtails and did her bangs that way myself. I even washed her hair is a GitD paint/water mix hoping it’d make it glow but sadly, that didn’t work.
I removed her arm and thigh stitching but I left the neck and lower leg and ankle ones (see character bio for that); I did remove the neck bolts. Her arms were a set of Lagoona arms that I removed the paint and fins from; a ghost must have fadey limbs after all
I repainted her face. Her eyebrows and lips were painted in neon green, and the dark blue of her eye shadow was made silver-I left the light blue. Her eyes though are all in shades of green. The whites are a very light green, the iris is two tones of green, and the pupil is a dark green. I even painted over the whole eye and not just on the stock iris like I usually do, so her eyes aren’t exactly *even* but I am very proud of them. She was given a very light dusting of white freckles on her nose, then I tried to give her eyes and lips a coat of GitD paint after sealinging (before hinders the light absorption I’ve found) but sadly she doesn’t glow very well (I think my paint might be bad ). But I still love her, she’s super cute ^^
As luck would have it I found the comic book fashion pack the day I was working on her so she has that shirt with a modified DotD Deena tights as an “under shirt”. She has some Bratz pants (modified in Ps) and KS Frankie shoes. Her clothes are subject to change depending upon who needs to wear her pants or shoes
But I so love her! She came out so cute, and I adore her comic geek girl personality too ^^ And the effect the green hair has on the white just so works. I love my Geeky ghost girl very much ^^
Now to restyle Ula, and figure out what to do with Deena…hm…
The figures include the fashion pack Deadfast, Squinkie Marvel heroes, Ben 10 Alien Force figures (from 2 different sources), CN miniature figures, and miniature Pokemon figures from various sources. I enjoy collecting miniature figures ^^ at first as props for my MLP (Minty and Sno’s collections) and now for my dolls
yes they're de-painted Lagoona arms. one came from a SO Lagoona, and the other came from a DotD Lagoona (I swapped the "hand loose" hand to my DotD). they're just the basic stock mold
