I Am. INSANE!

I have no idea what possessed me to do this; it seemed like a good idea at the time. 73 chars later though I realized that my main menu only had 70 icons and that 73 wouldn’t make a square. So I had to add in 4 more to make 77! So 77 OCs!! And I still have more! X.x feel free to run away screaming, I know I want to.

So yeah, name meanings for everyone. I had to look up each name for pronunciation, origin, and meaning. In some cases I pronounce things differently (or I made up the name so my pronunciation is the correct way) so I had to do out the phonics best I can. For origins, I did go with what I thought worked best if there were multiples; the Were-s puns though I labeled as “Lycan” because I feel they should have their own language (did you know Werecats are considered lycanthropes? I didn’t!)

But the meanings! Oh boy!

in a few cases it sent me in a loop going “form of this name” which was a “form of that name” which was a variant of “this other name” until the name with the meaning wasn’t even close to the original anymore! So some might be a tad off…but I actually learned quite a bit! I love name meanings and 8 times out of 10 I do look up names with specific meanings for specific traits (ie Almos is a dream eater so I wanted a dream themed name) but in other cases I picked names I liked and oddly enough they seem to totally fit! (ie Oliver has a time meaning imbedded!! I also didn't know that "thyme" was pronounced like "time" i always said the way it looks

) so I thought that was really neat.

My core group plus 2 extras have alternate names to them (Gender Bent and Human) so there are A LOT of names to go through…luckily they’re all in alphabetical order though.

Images made on the lunaii doll maker; I wanted clear uniformity and that was the easiest way to do it.
