Idk I was bored, felt like humanizing my core MH OCs, then I was having fun so I added a couple 2nd tier ones. Though doing this made me realize that a lot of my chars are already humanish to begin with (like Winona and Van) so I didn’t do those but some of the more monstery ones.
-Lukas Schnitter = Lukas Helson
Took his book!canon name, but he’s human. Weird with matching eyes
feel like maybe the one should’ve been hazel
And “schnitter” is German for “reaper”, referring to his death entity status.
-Erika Webber = Operetta D. Phantom
-again reusing her book!canon name, and design cause I actually really liked her book!canon design, even though I don’t follow book!canon. “Erika” from “Eric” (her father), and “Webber” from “Andrew Lloyd Webber” the PotO musical author.
-Gabriel Robinson = Grave Robberson
Gabe = Grave, and Robinson sounds like Robberson. His design was already pretty humanish anyways, just changed the skin and eye color.
-Seymour Markey = Seamour Markey
And Makei keeps his nickname. He’s such a pretty blonde surfer boy ^^
-Hal von Geist = Echo Vondergeist
“Hall” is German for “Echo” (according to my translator
), so drop an L and you get the name “Hal”; I felt “von Geist” could be a real surname.
-Marie Toulon = Marie Toulon
Her name was already pretty normal, just made her human instead of wooden. Loved the arm warmers/knee socks mimicking her mismatched parts though ^^
-Heleen Wolfe = Howleen Wolf
You’ve no idea how hard it was to find a humanish name for her that was similar. What is “Howleen” even a parody of? Halloween? Moreen maybe? Hu…“Mawleen”…possible alternate….naw *shakes head*
-Seth Gordon = Seth Gorgon
Yeah…probably about the least changed on him
-Rainbow Molder = Prizma Dentata

I think she’s the most changed on this whole page! I can see her as a peppy happy blue eyed blonde, so the design was easy. It was the name! I decided to call her “Rainbow” since she sorta lost her main rainbowness from her hair and name; I picked “Molder” as her surname because it was similar to “molar” as in your teeth, and “dentata” actually means “teeth”
-Oliver Thyme = Oliver Time
Save for his hair and eyes, Ollie was already pretty humanish. “Thyme” rhymes with “Time” and I couldn’t think of any clever time related surnames
So yeah, humans!
