MH: Stop the Hateby *KPenDragon

I was so heavily inspired by ~AlyssaTolensky’s piece that I just had to do one of my own. I was given the ok to, so thus this is the result.

I’d recently been given some flack about my headcanon that Neffera was gay off site (you may have noticed me going “I felt like I needed to defend my ship even though I know I don’t have to” on my tumblr

). And you know, you gotta love it how despite all the different things I do, people will zoom in on the one different thing and go “ew! Don’t do that, do something normal</a>” when if they looked they’d see that “normal” is what I normally do. Seriously, people…but that’s a semi-off topic rant! XD;;;

I had been given grievances about Neff being gay, Alyssa did her piece, and it was so inspirational and just the most perfect of timing.

But here there is much symbolism too. So you see that they aren’t holding hands, but holding pinkies; it’s more intimate yes, but also speaks volumes upon their relationship. Momba’s also the only one wearing the bracelet. This was done because their relationship still isn’t public, and it’s only not public because Neff is fearful of the backlash she’d get for it. Momba is openly proud of her orientation, but she is patient enough to let Neff get to that point too. So this pinky hold, it speaks of their hiding, but it’s also such a big leap in the displaying of public affection as well. So much symbolism

So yeah, that’s the piece. I tried my best to mimic the webisode style I think…colored outlines

Help spread the message that if we are to truly stop the hate, it must be all hate towards all types of people and not just a select few.
