MLP: Dusk Luna

Well I’d picked up a FiM gift set to customized me a Luna/Nightmare Moon. Yes I know, everyone and their cousin has done this, but I sorta wanted one. So I started and well as I went along I felt like it wasn’t really regular Luna or NM. So thus, she because what I dub “Dusk Luna” from “the Dusk reality” where Tia went a little nuts when they were younger (and was pink with pink hair, not white) and Luna had to banish her to the sun. So when Luna had to absorb Tia’s powers, she turned black (like how she turned black to become NM) and gained the extra hair colors (just like Tia did in regular world). Again, I know, everyone and their cousin has done this story too, but this is mine.

She’s painted in custom metallic colors (save the light blue) and plain old black. Her wings were given a silver wash, then sealed with Triple Thick Gloss sealant; it was my first time using it and I think it might’ve been bad so I thinned it out with my silver wash as I went along so I think it added sparkles to it. But I like it; I wanted them to have a different look to do with my Target exclusive clear-pink winged Tia.

I also removed the hair lock on the left side that was used to keep the crown in place; that thing just looked awkward to me.

All in all, I love her. And I loved her so much I altered my Tia to match But I hate Metallic paint…with a passion. Luna wasn’t a headache, but Tia…oh boy!
